WASHINGTON — New York’s new uniforms will be white in the first three games of the 2017 season, the team announced Thursday.
The Giants wore white jerseys in the preseason and have worn white uniforms in their last three regular-season games.
The team’s jersey was unveiled at halftime of Sunday’s preseason game against the New York Jets, and it will go on sale in November.
The white jersey will be the second consecutive season that the Giants have worn a uniform featuring black trim.
The Giants wore black trim in the 2009 preseason and 2009 regular-seasons.
In its first two seasons, the Giants wore red jerseys with white trim.
This year, the white trim will be a gray uniform.
In 2014, the uniforms featured a black trim on white jerseys for the first time.
In 2011, the uniform featured black trim for the last time.
